The holiday season always brings the same question: what can we do together that everyone will actually enjoy? Bake-offs, light tours and movie nights are wonderful, but when toddlers, teenagers and grandparents share one room, you need a game that everyone can join in seconds. Christmas bingo is exactly that: nothing to learn, one card per player, and a little suspense with every call.
Our Christmas bingo cards come in two festive designs, Classic and Modern, each in full color or in ink-saving black and white, and they work with all three games you can make on our site: classic 75-ball bingo, 90-ball bingo and word bingo with your own Christmas words. Below you will find how to choose, a word list to start from, and how to print a free set in about a minute.
Two Festive Designs: Classic and Modern
"Christmas (Classic)" frames the card with wrapped presents, shiny baubles, holly and gold stars under a snowy blue sky. "Christmas (Modern)" is a storybook winter village with snowmen, elves, a decorated tree and a pile of presents under twinkling lights. Both keep the numbers on a clean white grid that is easy to read, so pick whichever suits your party:
- A Christmas office party that feels special and well planned.
- A family gathering where the holiday theme shows in every detail.
- A classroom party in the last week before the winter break.
Christmas (Classic) on the left, with the center square ready for your logo, and Christmas (Modern) on the right.
Black and White: A Gift to Your Printer
Color ink is expensive, and a school party, a community fundraiser or a big office event can easily need a hundred cards. That is why every design, both Christmas designs included, has a built-in black and white mode: tick "Use black and white (printer friendly)" and the design you picked prints in crisp grayscale, with all its festive detail and none of the color ink.
Black and white mode keeps every snowman and present, and saves your color ink.
Numbers or Words? Choose Your Christmas Bingo Game
- 75-ball bingo: the classic American game, with a 5×5 grid under B-I-N-G-O and a FREE center square. It is the easiest choice for mixed groups, and our free online bingo caller can draw the numbers for you.
- 90-ball bingo: the ticket played in Britain and much of Europe, with three rows, nine columns and fifteen numbers. Print 90-ball tickets with either Christmas design. Our free 90-ball bingo caller can draw the numbers for you.
- Word bingo: instead of "B-4", players listen for "snowman" or "sleigh". Children love it, because they have to read each word to mark it. Make your Christmas word bingo cards the same way.
A Christmas Word List to Start With
Type or paste the words into the word box, one per line. A card holds 24 words around the FREE center square, so these 24 fill a card exactly:
Santa Claus
Reindeer
Snowman
Snowflake
Christmas tree
Star
Angel
Bell
Candy cane
Gingerbread
Stocking
Present
Ribbon
Sleigh
Elf
Mistletoe
Holly
Wreath
Candle
Chimney
Hot cocoa
Carol
Bauble
Mittens
With exactly 24 words, every card has the same words in a different order, which is fine for line games. For a full-card game, add a few words of your own, so the cards differ and do not all fill up at the same moment.
How to Make Your Free Printable Christmas Bingo Cards
- Open our free printable bingo cards page.
- Choose the game type: 75-ball, 90-ball or word bingo. For word bingo, paste your Christmas words into the word box, one per line.
- In the design options, pick "Christmas (Classic)" or "Christmas (Modern)". To save ink, also tick "Use black and white (printer friendly)".
- Optional: use "Custom Logo" to put your company logo, the school crest or a photo in the center square. A picture of the dog in reindeer antlers always gets a laugh.
- Choose how many cards you need and download the print-ready PDF. Every card is shuffled at random, so each player gets a different one.
Playing 75-ball or 90-ball? Put our free Virtual Bingo Caller on a laptop or TV to draw and announce the numbers, and switch it to 90 balls for a 90-ball game. For word bingo, write the words on slips of paper and draw them from a Christmas stocking.
Ideas for Your Christmas Bingo Party
- Festive prizes: small gift cards, hot chocolate mix, fun Christmas socks, or a gag prize for the ugliest Christmas sweater in the room.
- An office icebreaker: a round of bingo gets departments that rarely work together laughing at the same table.
- Change the winning pattern: before you start, announce a harder target, such as the four corners or a full "Blackout" card.
- Keep it easy for little ones: younger children can play in pairs, or use word bingo with short, simple words.
Merry Christmas!
