Halloween Bingo Cards: Free Printable Party & Class Game

When the leaves turn and the first pumpkins appear on doorsteps, it is time to plan the Halloween party. A good party needs a game that everyone can join in seconds, from a class of seven-year-olds to adults in full costume, and bingo is exactly that: nothing to learn, one card per player, and a little suspense with every call.

Our Halloween bingo card design comes in full color and in ink-saving black and white, and it works with all three games the generator makes: classic 75-ball bingo, 90-ball bingo and word bingo with your own Halloween words. Below you will find how to pick the right game, a word list to start from, and how to print a free set in about a minute.

Full Color: Pumpkins, Spider Webs and Bats

The full-color Halloween design frames the card with grinning jack-o'-lanterns in orange and purple, a witch's hat, spider webs and bats, while the numbers stay on a clean white grid that is easy to read. It is the one to choose when the cards are part of the decoration.

Black and White: A Whole Class Set Without the Ink Bill

Color ink is monstrously expensive, and teachers, parents and fundraiser hosts often need dozens or even hundreds of cards. That is why every design, Halloween included, has a built-in black and white mode: tick "Use black and white (printer friendly)" and the same design prints in crisp grayscale. It is ideal for:

  • Classroom parties: print a card for every student without worrying about ink.
  • Community events: print hundreds of unique cards for a Halloween fundraiser.
  • Last-minute game nights: any home printer will do, even one that has run out of color ink.

Numbers or Words? Choose Your Halloween Bingo Game

  • 75-ball bingo: the classic American game, with a 5×5 grid under B-I-N-G-O and a FREE center square. It is the easiest choice for mixed groups, and our free online bingo caller can draw the numbers for you.
  • 90-ball bingo: the ticket played in Britain and much of Europe, with three rows, nine columns and fifteen numbers. Print 90-ball tickets with the same Halloween design. Our free 90-ball bingo caller can draw the numbers for you.
  • Word bingo: every square holds a Halloween word instead of a number. It is the favorite in classrooms, because players have to read each word to mark it. Make your Halloween word bingo cards the same way.

A Halloween Word List to Start With

Type or paste the words into the word box, one per line. A card holds 24 words around the FREE center square, so these 24 fill a card exactly:

Ghost
Witch
Pumpkin
Jack-o'-lantern
Black cat
Bat
Spider
Spider web
Skeleton
Zombie
Vampire
Mummy
Werewolf
Monster
Haunted house
Graveyard
Full moon
Broomstick
Cauldron
Candy
Costume
Mask
Trick or treat
Owl

With exactly 24 words, every card has the same words in a different order, which is fine for line games. For a full-card game, add a few words of your own, so the cards differ and do not all fill up at the same moment.

How to Make Your Free Printable Halloween Bingo Cards

  1. Open our free printable bingo cards page.
  2. Choose the game type: 75-ball, 90-ball or word bingo. For word bingo, paste your Halloween words into the word box, one per line.
  3. In the design options, pick the "Halloween" background. To save ink, also tick "Use black and white (printer friendly)".
  4. Optional: use "Custom Logo" to add a photo or logo, such as the kids in their costumes, your best jack-o'-lantern or the school crest.
  5. Choose how many cards you need and download the print-ready PDF. Every card is shuffled at random, so each player gets a different one.

Playing 75-ball or 90-ball? Put our free Virtual Bingo Caller on a laptop or TV to draw and announce the numbers, and switch it to 90 balls for a 90-ball game. For word bingo, write the words on slips of paper and draw them from a hat, or better still, from a cauldron.

Ideas for Your Halloween Bingo Night

  • Set the mood: play a round between the films of a scary movie marathon.
  • Offer themed prizes: a bag of candy, a spooky mug or simply bragging rights.
  • Change the winning pattern: before you start, announce a harder target, such as the four corners or a full "Blackout" card.
  • Keep it easy for little ones: younger children can play in pairs, or use word bingo with short, simple words.

Happy Halloween!
