A blank bingo card is a game you finish yourself
Every other card on this site arrives filled in, with numbers or with the words you typed. A blank card is the opposite: an empty 5×5 grid with B-I-N-G-O across the top and the free square in the middle, and twenty-four squares waiting for a pen. Whoever holds the card decides what goes on it — and that is exactly why people print them.
Who prints blank bingo cards?
- Teachers — students copy this week’s spelling or vocabulary words into their own grid, so the writing is part of the practice. Then the teacher reads out definitions and the class listens for the answers.
- Baby and bridal showers — guests write down the gifts they expect to see and mark them off as the presents are unwrapped.
- Family and friends — the group picks a theme, collects words together and everyone fills in a card of their own. The result is a game about your own in-jokes.
- Road trips and TV nights — everyone predicts what they will see or hear, from a red tractor to a referee’s questionable call.
Blank cards or word bingo?
If you already have your list, word bingo is quicker: paste the words once and the generator shuffles them onto every card. Choose blank cards when the writing is the point — in a lesson, at a party, or anywhere the players should decide what is on their own card. You can also mix the two: type some words, and add lines holding only a space for the squares the players should fill in.
Blank cards get everything else the generator offers: your logo or photo in the centre square, a ready-made background or one the AI creates from your description, black-and-white printing to save ink, card numbers, and one, two or four cards per A4 page — one per page gives young writers the biggest squares. Watermarked cards are free and unlimited; removing the watermark is a paid option.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I make a blank bingo card?
This page already has word bingo selected with “Leave the squares blank” ticked. Choose a background, add your logo to the centre square if you like, pick how many cards you need and download the PDF. Every card prints as an empty 5×5 grid under the letters B-I-N-G-O.
Is the centre square blank too?
No. The middle is the free square: it prints “FREE”, or your own logo if you upload one. Players fill in the other 24 squares.
Can I leave only some of the squares blank?
Yes. Untick “Leave the squares blank” and type your words one per line: a line holding only a space becomes an empty square. That way every card can carry a few printed words and leave the rest for the players.
